Well, I guess all those rumors last month about the imminent break up of super cute Hollywood couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were just that: rumors. The couple seems to be going strong and it has recently been leaked that they are expecting their second child together. But are they?

While there has been no official announcement from the two, a couple of close friends have let it slip that Jennifer is pregnant. Earlier this month, Jennifer’s former Alias costar, Victor Garber was asked in an interview by US magazine if Jennifer was expecting. His answer was short and to the point: “Yes, she is.” But Garber has recently told E! News that his comment was take out of context and he has no idea if she is indeed pregnant. “I haven’t confirmed that at all, no. I know they want to have another child and hopefully that’s true, but I don’t know that. … No, I know that they are hoping to be. I just don’t know that it’s for sure. It’s a very… personal thing.”

Now it seems that director Kevin Smith has added his two cents spilling the beans while chatting to US magazine at a recent Maxim party. The friend and costar of Affleck’s further confirmed the baby rumor. Smith, who directed Affleck in Chasing Amy, Mallrats and Dogma told US magazine that Ben, “came over last week and told me, ‘I’m having another baby!’ I said, ‘Right on!’…”He’s a good dad, man.” Smith also said that now that they are expanding their family, they are in the process of house hunting for a larger home.

All of the baby buzz around Jennifer started when she appeared in some loose fitting blouses, making people wonder if she was concealing a baby bump.

Well, it seems that the latest Hollywood couple rumored to be heading to splitsville is none other than cutie Jennifer Garner and hubby Ben Affleck. According to Ted Casablanca from E!Online, a source close to Jennifer has told him that the movie beauty is thinking of divorcing Affleck. But according to Ben’s rep, this rumor is totally false and unfounded: “We usually don’t comment on stuff like this. But you should know sources are liars. If you guys want to do the right thing, you won’t post that item. It’s all BS.”

Very strong words for someone who usually doesn’t comment on stuff like that. Could it maybe be a case of the rep doth protest too much? The couple has not been seen together a lot in the last little while, seeming to prefer to spend one on one time with their daughter, Violet. There has so far been no comment from Jennifer’s rep, which could be a good thing or a bad thing.

Despite the denial from Camp Affleck, Casablanca is sticking to his story. Why? Because according to him “it’s from the same bull-pooping peeps who originally told me Ms. G was moving from Vartan to Affleck, the fickle little femme.” It’s hard to keep anything secret for very long in the land of the rich and famous, so I have a feeling we’ll all be in the know sooner rather than later.

I like these two as a couple and while I usually don’t give a flying rat whether or not a Hollywood couple breaks up, I really hope that these two stay together and work things out. Maybe it’s because they are just so gosh darn cute together that makes me want to rally behind them. But if they do break up? Feel free to give me a call, Ben.
