Some celebrities think that just because they are famous they can do whatever they want and get away with it. Someone who has almost turned this into an art is Paris Hilton. Her latest spoiled brat act took place in a pet store. Seems Paris wanted to make a purchase and was refused.

On her way to a photo shoot, Ms. Hilton stopped into The Puppy Store on Melrose Avenue to buy a Yorkshire Terrier. The clerk working at the time thought that this was an impulse buy and refused to sell the heiress the pooch. According to a source Paris freaked out on the poor clerk and starting yelling and pitching a fit. The source told the New York Post “Paris went ballistic and started screaming, ‘I love my puppies! I want my baby!’ However, they still wouldn’t sell her the animal.” And can you blame them? If you want to convince a pet store clerk that you are not buying a puppy as an impulse buy it’s best not to verbally abuse them. And maybe not to try to buy it on the way to a photo shot.

Which leads to the question why was she trying to buy a dog on the way to her photo shoot? Well, according to the same source “Paris wanted a puppy in the picture with her so it would look cuter.” Well, no wonder the clerk thought it was an impulse buy- it was! Who in their right mind would want to buy another living breathing thing that requires love and care and attention just to look cuter in a photo shoot? It is this type of mentality that has lead Paris in the past to bring illegal pets into the United States, such as the a kinkajou she acquired in 2005 during a trip to Vegas. It was also reported that she tried to bring a baby kangaroo into he country.

Paris needs to realize that animals are a responsibility, not an accessory. You want to look cuter for a photo shoot? Try a new handbag or some lip gloss.
